Delaying dental treatment can lead to serious complications with your oral health. Unfortunately, dental decay, gum disease, and other issues do not heal on their own. In fact, they continue to progress until treatment is received. If treatment is postponed long enough, we will have to recommend a tooth extraction, which can cause additional problems and complications.

When you visit the office due to an oral health problem and then postpone treatment, the procedure may become more involved, increasing the time in the dentist's chair.
