Our family run practice has existed for over 40 years in Appleton. It’s a practice built on word-of-mouth referrals. There are so many options when choosing a dentist. We don’t take this lightly, and we are honored when a patient chooses our practice. We care about your health. We care about your experience. We care about you! That’s the feeling you get when you walk through our doors. We are honored to carry on the tradition of excellence that was started long ago!
We pride ourselves on patient education. The doctors are committed to taking the necessary time to explain treatment options to patients in a way that is understandable. It is our priority that treatment decisions that are made are done so together with your best interest in mind. We are respectful of your time, and strive to keep our appointments effecient, on time, and low pressure. We want each experience to be a positive one, from the moment you’re greeted to the time you leave the office, and everywhere in between!
Our Story
With thirty years of combined experience, Drs. Callie and Michael practice a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry with expertise ranging from porcelain veneers to dental implants, crowns, and bridges. Our team is comprised of top-notch dental professionals and the most amazing front office staff.
We are proud to be the original Romenesko dental office in the Fox Cities, dating back to 1978 when Dr. Michael’s father, Dr. Rick, first founded the practice. Four decades and a second generation later, we’ve grown and evolved in a multitude of ways, while always maintaining the same high level of care and deep patient relationships at the heart of all we do.
Our philosophy
Based on a strong, personal belief in the importance of each patient’s oral health, our staff pledges to provide the best dental care in a caring, compassionate, and comfortable environment. Gone is the fear and anxiety traditionally associated with going to the dentist. We have a friendly and fun atmosphere where we treat our patients like family. We are also dedicated to continuing education and learning the latest advancements in dentistry so that we may offer an array of treatment options and the very best care that our profession has to offer, all while staying within your budget.
Our Community
In addition, we are very passionate about serving our community, not only through dentistry, but also by sponsoring events and donating to organizations throughout the Fox Valley and Wisconsin. We are the official dentists of the Mile of Music Artists. Each year we happily help provide care for underserved people in our community. And, over the past 15 years, our family has been heavily involved with JDRF.

Technology
We use digital X-rays versus traditional X-rays to enhance the overall precision of imaging and reduce radiation exposure to you.
Intraoral cameras are utilized in conjunction with large display screens in every operatory to assist in educating our patients about their oral health.
- Radiation free caries detection option is available that uses transillumination (bright light transmission through the tooth) to accurately diagnose decay and cracks in teeth.
- Dentists and hygienists all treat patients with loupes (glasses equipped with high power magnification) to deliver the highest quality care.
Electric handpieces are used during patient procedures. These deliver more precise treatment with less noise and vibration for the patient versus air-driven handpieces.
Drs. Michael and Callie are committed to continuing education courses in order to stay cutting-edge with the latest techniques, materials and systems in the dental industry.
