Spring Cleaning For Your Smile!
Smile With Confidence Again
When was the last time you visited our office for a hygiene dental examination and cleaning? If it has been longer than six months, then you are due for a visit. Now that spring has arrived, it is the perfect time to get a spring cleaning for your smile. We know that life is busy, and it can be difficult to make time for an appointment, but routine dental care is a must to ensure optimal oral health. Delaying routine care increases your risk of developing serious dental conditions that can impact your spring and summer plans. Read on to learn more about the importance of routine dental care.
Schedule Your Appointment Today!
We typically recommend our patients visit for a routine hygiene examination every four to six months, depending on any ongoing dental conditions. For example, patients who have been diagnosed with gum disease will require more examinations to be sure the gums remain healthy. During routine examinations, we not only thoroughly clean the teeth, but we also inspect for signs of decay, gum disease, and oral cancer. There are not always indicators that these conditions are present in the mouth, and if they are left untreated, you are increasing your risk of experiencing severe discomfort and a dental emergency. Even if you have an excellent oral hygiene routine and thoroughly clean your teeth, we still recommend regular visits.
Don’t Forget Your Teens and Children
We know that life can be busy, especially when you have children and are trying to juggle not only your schedule but theirs as well. Your time is precious, and we are happy to see and treat your entire family in our office. Children and teens require visits every six months. We not only inspect for signs of decay, but we also check to see that the teeth are developing properly. During these visits, we may recommend your child visit an orthodontist to check on the placement of their arch and teeth.
